On Friday, July 26th, I left the office, marking the start of my long-awaited summer holiday. My destination? Tuscany, Italy—my homeland. After a seven-year break from vacationing there, I was eager to return to my roots, reconnect with friends and family, and soak in the beauty of the Tyrrhenian Sea.
Tuscany's coastal towns have a unique vibe where everyone seems effortlessly stylish, from their clothes to their fragrances. While I brought along a few trusted favorites from Claudio Zucca and Lorenzo Pazzaglia, it was the lesser-known Black Sea from Pazzaglia that intrigued me. It’s no surprise that Black Sea has earned a spot in my top 20 fragrances, and quite possibly, my top 5. While it hasn’t yet overtaken my number one, Red Tobacco, or my second favorite, Nishane Nefs, there’s a strong chance it could in the future. For now, I’m placing Black Sea firmly at number 3, edging ever closer to the number 2 spot.
